Traffic to and from campus, work, and church can consume hours a week.
Most people need around 8 hours of sleep each night: 56 hours.
Even a taco-run takes time.
Call your mother. Date your husband.
Good looks take time.
We have not found a way for these to take care of themselves, yet.
Those things you just can’t categorize, such as Facebook, blogs, Netflix.
(This will help you determine how many hours will be spent in lecture and homework.)

For every hour in lecture each week, plan to spend 2-3 hours in outside work.
Try to maintain a slight buffer (10-20 hours) just in case of emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
