Ordering Regalia
After a graduate submits their graduation application, DTS places the order for the graduate’s regalia. The rental costs for the regalia are included in the graduation fee. No further action is needed by the graduate for ordering regalia.
Regalia Pick Up
Regalia are picked up at the DTS Bookstore. Commencement regalia include four pieces: gown, hood, cap, and tassel.
Graduates should make every effort to pick up regalia PRIOR to the Commencement events.
The regalia pickup schedule at the DTS Bookstore is as follows:
Monday, April 27 – Friday, May 1
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Monday, May 4 – Wednesday, May 6
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 7
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Friday, May 8
2:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Regalia not picked up by noon on Thursday, May 7, will be delivered to the Commencement Chapel at Concord Church and can be picked up there the morning of Friday, May 8, prior to Commencement Chapel.
After Commencement Chapel, the regalia will be brought back to the DTS Bookstore and will be available for pickup until 7:30 p.m. Regalia not picked up by 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 8 will be available at Watermark Community Church the morning of the Commencement Ceremony (Saturday, May 9).

Regalia Items You May Keep
Commencement regalia include four pieces: gown, hood, cap (or tam), and tassel.
- Master’s graduates may keep their cap and tassel.
- Doctoral graduates may keep their tam and tassel.
Returning Regalia After the Ceremony
After the Commencement Ceremony concludes and the graduate and faculty recessional is complete, graduates will be released to meet with family members and guests and to take photos. All rented regalia must be returned on-site at Watermark Church. Once you have finished taking photos, please return your gown and hood at the large information center located at the back of the lobby.
Failure to Return Regalia
Graduates who do not return their rented regalia will be charged the full replacement cost. In addition, the graduate’s diploma and transcripts will be withheld until the regalia are returned or the replacement fee is paid.

Graduation Memorabilia
Graduation announcements, class rings, diploma frames, and other items are available for purchase through the DTS Bookstore. The DTS Bookstore staff is happy to assist you with any questions you may have concerning graduation memorabilia.
