The graduation process at DTS has two steps. Students may update their graduation date here or email the Registrar’s Office with their ID# and request to change semesters.

Must be done before the student’s final semester of study.
Applications are not complete until all references have been received by the due dates below. Please follow-up with references to ensure they received the email and have them check their junk/spam folder.
If students are using the same person for both the pastoral and church reference, be sure they complete both forms!
If students use a generic email for their church (info@ or contact@), be sure to follow-up with the staff member who oversees this inbox.
Due Dates:
Spring 2022: November 1, 2021
Summer 2022: February 1, 2022
If the application is not completed by the due date, then the student’s graduation date will be moved to a later semester.
This application indicates a student’s plan to participate in the Commencement Ceremony held each spring semester. This application must be submitted no later than February 15, 2022 for Spring 2022 Commencement participation.
Advisors run regular reports to review upcoming graduates degree audit. However, it is recommended that students confirm they are on track for graduation with their academic advisor.
If a summer graduate plans to participate in Commencement, spring coursework is due by 4:30pm (Central) on April 22.
If a summer graduate does not plan to participate in Commencement, he/she will follow the normal assigned due dates in the syllabus for the spring and summer semesters.
