Monthly Rent Rates for 2024-2025
Washington Apartments (formerly Washington Hall) is a 7-story apartment complex built in 2008. The complex is equipped with electronically controlled access to the building and parking lot. Washington offers one- and two-bedroom apartments that open into a central corridor on each floor to increase the development of community as well as contribute to energy efficiency. The apartments are unfurnished and include central air and heat, a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, as well as walk-in closets and full private baths for each bedroom. Academic Year or One Semester lease terms are available.

*Applicants electing for the One Semester lease term due to graduation may pay the Academic Year rent rate, instead of the One Semester rent rate.
Electricity, water, and trash are paid for by Housing. Rent rate does not include internet. The first month’s rent and a security deposit are due before moving in; please plan accordingly!

The 1 Bedroom apartments are approximately 535 square feet with the following dimensions:
- living/dining room/kitchen – 21’ x 12’
- bedroom – 10’ x 11’ plus a private bath and walk-in closet
The 2 Bedroom apartments are approximately 775 square feet with the following dimensions:
- living/dining room/kitchen – 21’ x 12’
- bedrooms – 10’ x 11’ plus a private bath and walk-in closet in each bedroom
Amenities
Washington Apartments features lounges on each floor, meeting rooms, a computer center and resource library, a game room, movie rooms, music practice rooms, a multi-purpose half-court for sports activities, a rooftop garden area, as well as outdoor gas grills and a swimming pool on the first floor adjacent to the building. A laundry facility is available on the second floor.
Parking
One parking space is allotted per bedroom at no additional cost (i.e. 1 Bedroom apartments are allotted one spot, and 2 Bedroom apartments are allotted two spots). Residents must display the proper permits to avoid ticketing.
Security
The DTS Campus Police is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Applying for Washington Apartments
You may apply to rent an apartment by yourself, with your spouse, or with roommates. Please note that the maximum number of adults that may occupy an apartment is three times the number of bedrooms in the dwelling. In a one-bedroom, this means 3 adults maximum; in a two–bedroom, this means 6 adults maximum.
