Dallas Theological Seminary is now offering a Driver service to help our residents travel from point A to point B. Residents, guests, faculty, staff, prospective students, and friends or family are all welcome to request transport between any two locations.
Whether one needs to go to the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Airport, or buy groceries at Costco, DTS Housing has you covered, and will go the extra mile!
Policies & Prices
We ask that you request your reservation at least 24-48 hours ahead of time, as we have to ensure that the van is available at your requested time. First come, first serve!
If you are reserving for multiple days, then multiple requests will need to be submitted.
Booking Process
Please fill out the Driver Reservation form below. Submitting the form does not automatically confirm your drive request has been approved. You will receive a confirmation email once your request is approved, and a travel fee will be charged to one’s AppFolio account, or a payment link will be provided. A DTS Driver will be assigned to you, and will contact you shortly before your requested date and time.

How many people can fit in the van?
There are six available seats for passengers to ride in. Seat preference is first come, first serve.
How will I know my driver has arrived?
The driver will text you at the number you provide in the form, including a ‘pin’ to track their location.
Can I bring my child's car seat?
Of course! For liability reasons, DTS Housing cannot provide a carseat, as it is the responsibility of the legal guardian to ensure the seating is safe.
How do I cancel my reservation?

How do I pay for the Driver Service?
The Driver Service is charged through a payment link provided in the confirmation email sent as an approval notice.
We do not accept cash as payment for the service.
How far in distance can I request a ride?
As far as reasonably possible! Feel free to put in a request, and your reservation request will be evaluated.
Can I bring an animal?
Pets are not accepted, although Assistance Animals (Service animals or support animals) are allowed. DTS reserves the right to request documentation for support animals.
Can I request any time?
Absolutely! Although we will not be able to accommodate every reservation request, we hope to help in anyway possible, including late-night airport runs.
Can I change dates and times after I have made a reservation?
If you desire to change the date or time of your reservation request, you can either cancel your current reservation or create a new request. Please make this request change known when you put in a new request by explaining in the additional notes question on the bottom of the request form.
Can I change destinations or pick-up locations?

Will I be taxed on my drive request?
Beginning July 2025, in accordance with Texas state and Dallas city laws, family of students, friends of students, students, and alumni will have an additional sales tax cost to their driver bill. A total of 8.25% of a driver request cost will be added to the total bill the same day as the drive occurs.
How do I cancel my drive request?
You may cancel your driver request no later than 24 hours before your scheduled pick up time without getting charged for your driver request. Emergency instances may allow for an exception.
