About

The Dallas Theological Seminary Guest Rooms are an amenity offered to prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, and friends or family visiting current residents. These Guest Rooms are located on the first floor of Washington Apartments (1107 Saint Joseph Street), just steps away from the Dallas Campus.

Guest Room 104

For $85/night, this fully-furnished two-bedroom features a queen bed, a twin bunk-bed, a trundle, and two desks. The apartment provides a full kitchen, living room (with a fold-out couch), dining room, and two full bathrooms. Guests have access to a washer and dryer, all amenities of the community, and will be conveniently located down the hall from the Housing Office so our staff can offer assistance.

Guest Room 113

Available for $45/night, this studio guest room features a full-size bed, a bathroom including a shower with bathtub, a desk, and a 56” television. This suite’s kitchenette is equipped with a small sink, mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig.

Guest Room 112

Available for $65/night, this spacious studio guest room features a king-size bed, a bathroom including a shower with bathtub, a desk, a walk-in closet, a 56” television, and two seating chairs. The suite’s kitchenette is equipped with a small sink, mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig.

Booking Process

Fill out the DTS Housing Reservation form below. Submitting the form does not automatically confirm your stay. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 business hours with a link for payment once the Housing team approves your requested reservation.  

Booking Conditions

  • The guest rooms are not a hotel service. We do not offer breakfast, room service, or daily cleanings. We do offer extra supplies such as towels or coffee upon request.  
  • Check-in begins at 3:00 pm at the Housing Office. Check-out is no later than 10:00 am.  
  • After your stay, an inspection will be done to assess for damages, which may result in an additional fee on your final bill. 
  • You may cancel your reservation no later than 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time without getting charged. Emergency instances may allow for an exception.
  • For qualifying guest types, occupancy taxes will be applied to a guest’s bill three days before their stay unless a notice of a cancellation has been provided. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer driver service to/from the airport?

Yes! For our guests, we now offer a professional shuttle service to and from Love Field and DFW airports for a fee added to their guest room bill. Guests can make a reservation for a driver by filling out a request form- DTS Housing Driver Service – Student HUB.

How do I pay for my reservation?

You will receive a link directing you to our payment system within the reservation confirmation email. You will have three (3) days to pay for your reservation. See our cancelation policy for questions about canceling your reservation after you’ve paid.

Does the guest room offer space to cook?

Guest Rooms 112 and 113 are equipped with a small fridge, sink, Keurig, and microwave. Guests will also have access to a full kitchen in the Clubhouse on the third floor of Washington Apartments.

Guest Room 104 is equipped with a full kitchen, including a stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, toaster, and dishwasher.  

What size beds are in each room?

Guest Room 112 is fitted with a king-size bed. Guest Room 113 is fitted with a full-size bed. Guest Room 104 is fitted with a queen-size bed in the bedroom, a twin bunkbed with a twin trundle in the study, and a full-sized pull-out couch in the living room.

How many people can stay in the guest rooms?

Two adults is the maximum for Guest Room 112 and Guest Room 113. Seven guests are the maximum for Guest Room 104.

How long can I stay in a guest room?

For Guest Rooms 112 and 113, guests may stay for a maximum of six (6) nights, seven (7) days per month cumulatively. Switching rooms does not reset the maximum time permitted. 

For Guest Room 104, guests may stay for a maximum of thirty (30) days per reservation. If you would like to request an exception to stay longer in Guest Room 104, please provide details under “Special Requests” in your reservation. Our team will review your request and email you confirming or denying the request. If you decide to extend your stay after you arrive, please submit a new reservation request and our team will follow up with you.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms; however, assistance animals are welcome to stay with their owners in our guest rooms.

How do I cancel my stay? Will I be charged?

You may cancel your reservation no later than 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time without getting charged for the first day of your stay. Emergency instances may allow for an exception.

What is the address where I check in?

Guests check in at the Housing Office located on the 1st floor of Washington Apartments. The address is 1107 St. Joseph Street, Dallas, TX 75204. 

If I am arriving after business hours, will I still be able to check into my room?

Yes! Please be sure to provide your arrival time when you complete your reservation request. If your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email before your arrival with check-in instructions.

Do you offer luggage storage?

Yes, we do! The Housing Office can hold your luggage in a secured location. Please call the office at (214) 887-5213 or send send an email to Housing@dts.edu to make arrangements.

Where do I park my car?

You will have access to a gated parking lot when you receive your keys from the Housing Office upon Check-In.  

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

With our high demand and quick turnaround time, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. However, we are able to hold your luggage. Please contact the Housing Office during business hours to make arrangements.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes, you may request to extend your stay by submitting a new reservation with the new dates. We will review your request and send you an email confirming or denying the reservation.

Who should I contact if there is a leak or facilities emergency?

If you experience a facilities emergency in your room, please call (214) 887-5213. If the call goes to voicemail, leave a detailed message. A staff member will return your call within 30 minutes.

If during office hours, you may also stop by the Housing Office. 

When is the Housing Office open?

From September 1-April 30, the Housing Office is open from 8:00 am -4:30 pm, Monday-Friday and 8:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday. From May 1-August 30, the Housing Office is open from 8:00 am -4:30 pm, Monday-Saturday. We are closed for Chapel during the week and on Sundays. Which guest type qualifies to be taxed with occupancy taxes in addition to their guest room payment?

Beginning July 2025, in accordance to Texas state and Dallas city laws, family of students, friends of students, and alumni will have an additional occupancy tax to the cost of their guest room bill. A total of 15% of a guest’s stay will be charged three days before the start date of a guest’s stay.
