Be an ambassador for DTS Housing and Dallas Campus community life! Any current resident of DTS Housing may apply for a referral bonus of $250 in their AppFolio portal if they refer a friend to DTS Housing who is new to Dallas Campus in 2026. See below for the terms and conditions.
Eligibility Requirements
This rent special is only valid from January 1 until December 31, 2026.
- Must have a renewed and active lease with DTS Housing at the time of the referred friend’s move-in date;
- Must refer a DTS student who:
- Will be new to Dallas Campus (either a newly accepted student or an active student moving to Dallas) at the time of move-in;
- Will sign a lease with DTS Housing in 2026 whether for an on-campus or approved near-campus property, with a move-in date in 2026; and
- Will successfully move into DTS Housing in 2026 and has paid at least their first full (non-prorated) month of rent.
- Must not have already received a Refer-A-Friend referral bonus within the month. Only one resident in any apartment may receive the bonus every month.
How to Apply
On the Housing Application, the referred friend must include the referring resident’s full name and student ID number in the appropriate question fields. This is required in order to confirm that the applicant was indeed referred by the resident. After the referred friend has successfully moved into DTS Housing, paid their first full month of rent, and all the eligibility requirements above are met, the referring resident will receive a $250 rent credit to their AppFolio portal.
Residents may not refer a friend after the referred friend’s Housing Application has been submitted.
