DTS Housing is now offering a relocation assistance scholarship for Fall 2025! Students relocating to Dallas for in-person classes can apply to receive up to $2,000 to support their transition to DTS.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen or naturalized US resident;
- Must be accepted into a Master’s, PhD, or EdD degree program;
- Must be enrolled in two (2) in-person classes on the Dallas campus during Fall 2025;
- Must relocate more than 150 miles;* and
- Must be relocating to within 35 miles of 3909 Swiss Avenue.*
*Distances will be determined by the shortest driving directions provided by Google Maps at the time of review.

There will be fifty (50) relocation assistance scholarships offered for the Fall 2025 term. Only one scholarship will be rewarded per household. Upon selection, students will either receive the award as a credit on their Student Account or through a stipend.
Applicants are required to provide proof of former and new residence (e.g., executed lease or purchase contract) as a demonstration of their need for relocation assistance. Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying applicants based on their completion of submissions, including proof of their current and Dallas addresses. If applicants are unable to submit proof of their Dallas address at the time of their application submission, applicants can submit proof of their Dallas address to Housing@dts.edu. A reminder email will be sent to these applicants to make sure their Dallas address is submitted before any relocation assistance is issued.
