Early Lease Signing BonusJanuary 24-February 4Email housing@dts.edu between now and February 4, 2022 if you would like
to renew your current lease after it expires. Residents who sign their new
lease during the bonus window will recieve $250 off their first month’s rent
under the new lease. July end-date applicants, Transfers, and Alumni/
Graduates are ineligble for this special.
July ’23 Lease End-Date
Applications Deadline
February 1Residents whose leases are set to expire May or July ’22 and who desire for
their new lease for the 2022-2023 school year to run through the month of
July must fill out an online application. Limited July end-date leases will be
approved.
Alumni, May/Summer ’22 Grad
Reapplication Deadline
February 1Current or soon-to-be alumni, as well as family of DTS staff must apply
online in order to be considered for a lease renewal. Per the lease, alumni
occupancy is re-evaluated annually and is not guaranteed for renewal.
July ’23 Lease End-Date
Decisions Communicated
March 1July ’23 end-date lease applications will be reviewed by the Housing/FPO
Committee. Decisions on those applications will be sent out on this day.
Lease Renewal DeadlineMarch 31For leases set to expire May 31 & July 31, 2022. If you fail to renew your
lease by this deadline, it may be rented out to a new incoming tenant.
Remaining in campus housing may still be possible after this deadline, but
will incur a fee, may require you to move units, and is not guaranteed.
End-of-Lease Transfer Request DeadlineMarch 31For leases set to expire May 31 & July 31, 2022. Anyone wanting to move
from one unit to another unit within their building at the end of their lease
must submit a transfer request and, as always, are subject to availability. Transfers are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Early Notice to Vacate Bonus DeadlineMarch 31For leases set to expire May 31 & July 31, 2022. Residents who secure their
move-out date and submit their notice by this deadline will receive a $50
credit to their rent account.
