5 Step Application Process
Internship Questions Meeting
Meet with an Internship Coordinator. This initial meeting is necessary to ensure that you understand and fulfill the Internship requirements or the different process for the EML Ministry Residency program.
Mentor Application
The Online Application is not complete until the Mentor has submitted their portion of the application. Because of educational privacy rules, you must send the PDF copy of your application to your Mentor for their review. Once your Mentor submits their application, you will receive an email confirmation and instructions.
Registration Interview
During the Registration Interview, your application will be reviewed and you will be given clearance to register. Registration Interviews are scheduled through the Ministry Formation Department (214-887-5264). Registration Interviews occur when the course registration opens for your starting semester and ends before that semester's payment deadline.
Complete Mentor Consultation
Before the semester begins, students must plan their Internship. This includes developing goals and a Mentor Consultation meeting that occur before the first day of classes. Your Internship's Canvas course contains instructions for completing the goal Planning Worksheets needed for this meeting and opens one month prior to the first semester.
