The following dates provide an overview and summary of key enrollment and academic information. The academic calendar is available in the current catalog. Students should regularly check their @dallasseminary.edu account for important emails and updates throughout the year.
Fall 2026 Semester Schedule Overview
August 24 – First day of the Fall 2026 term
August 30 – Last day to add a Fall 2026 course, change sections of a course, or drop a course for 100% tuition refund
November 16-20 – Reading Week (No Classes)
November 23-27 – Thanksgiving Break (No Classes)
December 18 – Last day of the Fall 2026 term
January 11 – First day of the Spring 2027 term
Registration and Academic Dates
Please note: If you are thinking of or planning to drop a course and you have received a DTS scholarship, loan, grants like TEG, or outside scholarships (ex. Inspire Women), please contact Financial Aid before dropping the courses (financialaid@dts.edu), so they can help you understand how this change could impact you.
- August 24 – First day of the Fall 2026 term
- August 30* – Last day to drop a course for a 100% tuition refund
- September 13* – Last day to drop a Fall 2026 course and receive a 75% tuition refund
- September 27* – Last day to drop a Fall 2026 course and receive a 50% tuition refund
- October 1 – Registration for Winter 2026 and Spring 2027 begins (check email in late September for exact registration window)
- November 1 – Early registration deadline for Winter 2026 and Spring 2027
- December 6* – Last day to drop a Fall 2026 course and receive a “W” grade
- December 13 – Last day to request a course extension for a Fall 2026 course due to Extenuating Circumstances
- December 18 – Last day of the Fall 2026 term
- December 28-January 8 – Winter 2026 term (check Course Schedule for exact dates and duration)
- January 11 – First day of the Spring 2027 term
- May 7 – Final day of the Spring 2027 term

Graduation Dates
- October 1 – Graduation application due for Fall 2026 graduates
November 1 – Supporting materials (both references and Ministry Safe Certificate) due for Fall 2026 graduates
- December 11 – Fall 2026 graduate coursework due by 4:30pm (US Central)
February 1 – Graduation Application due for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 graduates
March 1 – Personal Reference and Church Letter due for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 graduates. Ministry Safe Certificate due for Certificate and Masters Level English students only.
April 23 – Coursework due for Spring 2027 graduates and Summer 2027 graduates participating in Commencement.
May 7 – Commencement Chapel
May 8 – Commencement Ceremony
Financial Dates
- August 7 – Fall 2026 payment deadline
- September 1 – Needs-based application for Spring 2027 opens (domestic students), including Finishing Strong for ThM students
- October 1 – Priority deadline for Spring 2027 Needs-based application (domestic students), including Finishing Strong for ThM students
- November 6 – Winter 2026 payment deadline
- January 1 – International student scholarship applications opens for the 2027-2028 academic year (including Finishing Strong for ThM students)
