5 Step Application Process

Internship Questions Meeting
Meet with an Internship Coordinator from the Ministry Formation Department. This initial meeting is necessary to ensure that you understand and fulfill the Internship requirements or verify your understanding of the different process for the EML5801 Ministry Residency.
Mentor Application
The Internship Application is not complete until the Mentor submits their portion of the Application. Because of educational privacy rules, you must send the PDF copy of your application to your Mentor for their review. Once your Mentor submits their application, you will receive an email confirmation and instructions.
Registration Approval Interview
During the Registration Approval Interview, your application will be reviewed and the Internship Coordinator will complete your registration pre-requisite forms so you can register yourself. Registration Approval Interviews are scheduled through the Ministry Formation Department (214-887-5264). Interviews occur when the course registration opens for your starting semester and end before that semester's payment deadline.
Complete Mentor Consultation
Before the semester begins, students must plan their Internship. This includes developing goals and a Mentor Consultation meeting that occur before the first day of classes. Your Internship's Canvas course contains instructions for completing the goal Planning Worksheets needed for this meeting and opens one month prior to the first semester.
